I’ve been a longtime user and tweaker of XBMC and its spinoffs, boxee and plex, and I had (have?) high hopes for google tv, so I’ve been watching this carefully: Ubuntu TV.
After a few years of churning away as a paradise for tinkerers like myself, this market is finally starting to pick up some steam in the mass market, and I think its gonna get really interesting now that some of the bigger players like Ubuntu, Google, and Apple are starting to get involved.
